RECREATION (U8,U10,U12)

Be part of the most popular sport in the world! At our recreation program, we work with the mentality of introducing the beautiful game to each and everyone that walks through our well-designed program. The primary goal is to have everyone simply enjoy the game. Our Recreational Staff will do everything possible to help each child enjoy every second of every session while learning the fundamentals required to play the game. The outcome after every game is not our interest. The progress our kids make game after game is what we look for to give them a chance in their future to compete with our competitive programs.

  • Our Recreation Program is composed of Recreation coaches that share the passion of the game as much as we do to provide the right type of training.
  • Our cost for a Rec player is $200.00 Includes full season plus Uniform.
  • Teams are divided by age groups to allow the right competition.

ACADEMY (U9,U10,U11,U12)

Our Academy programs participate in Oregon Youth Soccer Association’s Development Program (The Academy). This is the higher and more competitive level of play in Oregon Soccer for age groups U9-U12.  Here, our goal is to provide maximum instruction to our players which will help them get ready for the next level. Our certified coaches will focus on sharpening technical skills, but will start emphasizing the importance of tactical knowledge, physical endurance, and sports psychology.

SELECT (U13 and up)

The Select Soccer Program participates in the Georgia Soccer Association’s U13-U19 Program. The goal of this program is to implement the Oregon State Soccer Association’s and the United States Soccer Federation’s guideline and recommendations for youth player development. Teams will be formed at each of these age groups, separating boys and the girls, as well as skill levels. Our program is structured to provide maximum instruction for each and every player, preparing him or her to compete at their highest level of play. Nationally and State certified coaches will emphasize development of ability on the ball and ball control, including basic individual skills: footwork, passing, defending tactics, dribbling and shooting. The training players will receive is designed to keep every player active with the ball at all possible times.

 

All Select players are required to commit for the Fall and Spring Seasons.

Training

Academy Players will be separated into teams and each team will train together. There are two mandatory training sessions per week for one and half hours each.

Games

Select games are scheduled by Georgia Soccer Association. Teams should expect to play a minimum of 8 games per season.

Tournaments

Teams may travel and participate in up to 4 tournaments per year. In addition, one out-of-town tournament may be attended per year. Teams are encouraged to play in tournaments each season. Tournaments will be a coach and team decision and will require additional fees.

Coaches

T.A.S.A. maintains some of the highest standards with regards to coaching. All TASA coaches are licensed, highly trained, and experienced professionals. TASA has coaches with international, collegiate, and ODP coaching experience.

Selection

All players selected to play for one of the TASA Select Teams will be notified of their acceptance within 72 hours of the final tryout date. Players must either accept or deny within 48 hours.

If you are accepted to participate on one of the TASA Select Soccer teams you will be notified within seven days of the end of try-outs. If you choose to accept the placement on the team you must notify the Director of Coaching and come to the registration date and complete all forms and pay all fees. If you cannot attend the registration you must make arrangements with the Club Director or the Director of Coaching.
